Vals 7 km from St. Jodok: Rustic chalet Schneider, in the district of Vals, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, directly by the woods edge. Private: lawn sunning area 400 m2, garden furniture. In the house: central heating. (In winter snow chains necessary). Parking. Grocers 7 km, restaurant 500 m. Ski lift 50 m, cable cabin 10 km, toboggan-run 30 m. The chalet is situated in the middle of the Almgebiet, which is situated at an altitude of 1580 m above sea level, with the most beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Walking routes and sled runs from the house. Private ski lift with ones very own ski slope, approx 220 m long, right infront of the house. Only for guests (free). Snow is guaranteed in this skiing area.
Housing: 5-room chalet 85 m2 on 2 levels, rustic furnishings: living/dining room 30 m2, with swedish stove and satellite-TV, exit to the terrace. 1 double bedroom. Kitchen (3 hotplates, oven). Hip bath/WC. Upper floor: 1 small room with 1 x 2 bunk beds. 1 double bedroom, exit to the balcony. 1 room with 2 beds. Bath-room, sep. WC. Small balcony. Terrace 30 m2. Lovely view of the mountains. The fridge/freezer is in the cellar. The room on the 1st floor has a partially sloping ceiling.
St Jodok Im Schmirntal: 1170 - 1600 m. Impressive view of St Jodok, resort belonging to the Zillertal. In the Schmirntal valley, there are still typical Tyrolian farms. Small, quiet holiday village with 500 inhabitants, 30 km south from Innsbruck. In the resort: grocers, restaurant. Sauna, sun bed, massage. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 5 - 20 km. Access: railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Innsbruck (INN), München Franz Josef (MUC).
Activities: During summer time: All watersports available in Steinach 5 km. Golf course 18 hole in Rinn 30 km. Riding. Fishing. Summer skiing in Sölden/Stubaital 40 km. Worth seeing: Valsertal nature reserve. During winter time: Ski region Bergeralm/Sattelberg 5 km. 1 cabin cabin, 2 chair lifts, 4 drag lifts, 2 childrens ski lifts. Ski school, childrens ski school from 4 years old. 20 km cross country ski tracks in the region (5 km illuminated), high altidude pistes. 3 toboggan-runs. Natural ice rink. Ski bus (free of charge). 1 beginners draglift in the Schmirmtal valley.
