Cosy chalet Wimmlerhütte, outside the resort, 10 km from the centre of Predlitz, in a secluded, sunny position. Private: garden (fenced), lawn sunning area, patio, garden furniture. Parking. Grocers, restaurant 10 km. The cabin is situated 1750 m above sea level, in the middle of the alps, and is ideal for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bussle of city life. Recommended for those who are looking for peace and quiet, who enjoy walking,whilst staying in a beautifully furnished house. Surrounded by nature, forests, alpine meadows,and mountains, with a few isolated weekend homes and cabin store (milk, butter for sale) in the area. The cabin is across a safe mountain road (part asphalt). Warm water, gas and solar lighting (12-volt plugs). Pets only on request! Please note: access mountain road is partly forest track which can be difficult to negotiate in wet conditions (approx. 30 mins).
Housing: 3-room house 70 m2 on 2 levels, tasteful and cosy furnishings: entrance hall. Living/dining room with 1 sofa bed, dining corner, TV and radio tiled stove. Open kitchen (oven). Shower/WC. Upper floor (spiral staircase): 2 rooms with sloping ceilings, each room with 2 beds. Gas heating. Deck chairs, box-room. Lovely view. Please note: only 1 dog accepted. Swedish oven stove (wooden). There is an additional oven in the kitchen (suitable for cooking), gas heating, gas fridge. Partly furnished with farm furniture.
Predlitz-Turracher Höhe: 900 - 1763 m. The Turracher Hoehe is surrounded by green mountains to 2400 m above sea level. The 3 lakes in the region (Turracher See, Schwarzee and Grunsee) are a unique natural element. Quiet, family friendly holiday resort with 1027 inhabitants, 150 km west from Graz. In the resort: restaurant. Indoor pool, thermal pool at 20 km. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 15 - 20 km. Access: railway station Spittal. Bus service.
