Description
Le Thou 18 km from La Rochelle: House, outside the resort, 3.5 km from the centre, on a side street. Private: grounds 2500 m2 (fenced) with lawn. Parking. Grocers 500 m, restaurant 3.5 km, bus stop 200 m. Swimming pool, tennis 3.5 km. Please note: car essential. NB: recently constructed train line, modern infrastructure, situated 200 m behind a high fence. The typical noise of a passing train has therefore been suppressed.

Housing:
3-room house 100 m2, simple furnishings: living/dining room with 1 double sofa bed, TV, video and radio. 1 room with 1 double bed. 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm). Kitchenette (4 hotplates, oven, micro wave). Shower, bidet, sep. WC. Electric heating. Terrace. Terrace furniture, barbecue, box-room. Facilities: washing machine, modem connection. Please note: only 1 dog accepted. Telephone with phone card.

La Rochelle:
Frequently visited ancient city, bathing resort with 80000 inhabitants, 145 km from Nantes, 185 km from Bordeaux, 90 km from Royan. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Casino, museum, cinema. Access: railway station SNCF La Rochelle. Bus service. Harbour des Minimes. Chatelaillon 15 km. Esnandes 13 km. Ile dAix 20 km. Direct access to the Ile de Re via the bridge (toll). The Tourist office offers guided tours (please enquire). For arrivals by plane: airport La Rochelle (LRH) 10 km, Bordeaux (BOD) 195 km.
