A charming house (180 m2) on a woody property of 55 hectares, situated in the midst of the Poitou-area.
It is an old, restored farm, situated on a very peaceful place. Within 6 km distance, you will find the fresco's of St Savin, which is the pride on the world estate list of Unesco. Poitiers is within 45 km and has many Roman churches. A variety of historic personages have lived here (Charles Martel, Jeanne d'Arc, Calvin, Rabelais, Descartes,...). Then surrounding is rich in castles (Dissay, Vayres,...) and abbeys (Pin, Ligugé,..), but is also possible here: kayak, mountainbike and rock climbing (Pouzioux). The lake of St Cyr is located within 50 km (swimming, surfing, tennis, fishing, golf). And would you really like to live spectacularly, then you absolutely have to go to Futuroscope (50 km): for excitement, pleasure and wonder, you have to be here, you can even vreep into the skins of film actors. This is an ideal holiday place, more atmosphere and lots of special activities.
