Pfullendorf is well-known for its mild climate, varied countryside and historic old town with numerous lovingly decorated timbered buildings. The lake park Linzgau which belongs to the place is an ideal all year round day-trip destination because of its flair and construction (water scenery, rambling paths, restaurant). For arrivals by plane: airport Friedrichshafen (FDH) 42 km, Zürich (ZRH) 100 km, Stuttgart (STR) 120 km.
