Szabolcs is a small town with approx. 600 inhabitants. There is a small supermarket, two cafes, a post office, small museum and a Roman church.
Furthermore, the Tisza streams there; in this river you can swim, canoe or try to catch a fish.
The landscape is light glowing and the surrounding is ideal to make beautiful hikes and cycling trips. Hiking routes can be found in the house. The Zempleni mountain chain is an old volcanic middle chain of mountains and DE wine area of Hungary. You will be surprised by the variety of wine cellars, clear brooklets and the beautiful flora and fauna.
Within approx. 7km are the towns Rakamaz and Tokaj. These are wonderful towns, where you can have a wonderful bite and shop pleasantly. Canoes can be hired here as well.
