Cottage with pool for 12 persons in Assisi (Italy)

Description
Small old convent dating back to the 15th century, renovated inside, located in the country at the foot of the town of Assisi. Its location is ideal for trips, on foot or by bike, and for discovering the beautiful Umbrian valley with its pretty little castles. The accommodation is not large but well laid out. Easy access by train or bus. Small terrace on the 1st floor of the house with magnificent panoramic views of the town of Assisi especially at night. Beautiful swimming pool with sunny terrace, a pretty lit gallery and a corner-kitchen for dining outdoors. Rustic lay-out in comfortable arte povera style. All bedrooms, the living room and dining room have air conditioning. Only a small pet is permitted. House Al Guado 10 km from the centre of Perugia, 160 km from the centre of Firenze. Private: garden (fenced), swimming pool (6 x 12 m, 10.04.-02.10.), garden furniture. In the house: washing machine. Parking. Shop 2 km, bus stop 700 m, railway station Assisi 4 km. Tennis 2 km, riding stables 1.5 km.The pool is open from 10.04 to 02.10.

Al Guado, 8-room house 180 m2 on 2 levels, fully, nice furnishings: living room. Dining room with open fireplace and TV. Upper floor: 2 rooms, each room with 3 beds and shower/bidet/WC. (Outdoor steps): 4 rooms, each room with 3 beds and bath/bidet/WC. Please note: only 1 dog accepted. Separate house - 8 rooms - 12 persons - 180 m2. The house is in 2 parts. Main part: ground and 1st floors connected by an interior staircase. 4 rooms have an exit to outside. Ground floor: small living room, dining room with fireplace and TV, kitchen with oven, dishwasher. Bath/WC. 1st floor: via interior staircase. 2 bedrooms with large bed each with small en-suite bathroom/shower. Ground floor accessible from outdoors: 2 twin rooms each with en-suite bath/shower. Ist floor: via outside staircase. Furnished terrace and balcony with access to 2 bedrooms with large beds each with en-suite bath/shower.

Assisi:
Assisi is the town where S Francesco, patron saint of Italy, lived most of his life, leaving eternal spiritual legacy. This town with its 25000 inhabitants is a few kilometres south-east of Perugia, in one of the most picturesque areas of Umbria. Besides a lovely panoramic view the town offers a marvelous variety of places of cultural and historical interest. Worthseeing the cathedral of S. Francesco where he was buried. The Cappella della Porziuncola inside the Cathedral of S Maria degli Angeli, the church of S Damiano, the church of S Rufino, the Cathedral of Santa Chiara and many others. Numerous worthwhile excursions in the vicinity of the town.
