Alghero: A lively small town in the north-west of Sardinia with 50000 inhabitants. There are a number of reasons to spend ones holiday in Alghero. The bathing resort has a lovely beach with dense pine wood. In a few minutes one can be on other beaches at the Baia di Porto Conte. Along this bay one can get to Capo Caccia with the unique caves Grotto Nettuno which can also be reached by boat.
