The apartment is situated in modernised premises from 1870, where the owners live as well. View over a meadow, situated along the Achlumer canal. Situated between the historic towns Harlingen, Franeker and Bolsward along the edge of the characteristic town Achlum. It is possible to hire a metal fish scow with outside outboard motor for day trips over the canals to Harlingen, Franeker and Bolsward. Achlum for daily life requirements have a supermarket, which is within approx. 200m from the apartment. In Harlingen bicycles can be hired
