More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 5 - 90 km. Access: railway station Swiecie nad Wisla 30 km. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, hiking and fishing. This unique area is part of the Country Park. The waters of the River Wda are particularly clear. The river which has a large salmon population is host to many canoe rallies. Bory Tucholskie is one of Polands largest forests and is home to many wild animals including red and fallow deer and wild boar. It has also become a refuge for rarer animals like beavers and cranes. The forest is mainly pine and has many mushrooms and blueberries. For arrivals by plane: airport Gdansk (GDN) 105 km, Bydgoszcz (BZG) 85 km.
