Wegorzewo is starting point for boat trips through the Great Mazurian Lakes Route and it is also famous for the festivals which take place in summer: rock festival, sailors song festival and poetic song festival. Wilczy Szaniec in Gierloz - the ruins of Adolf Hitlers headquarters. Canoe route on lakes and river Sapina (30 km).
