Gorle:
Small, quiet resort directly by the lake, 9 km north-west from Elk, 65 km south-west from Suwalki, 70 km west from Augustów. All shops, restaurants etc. in Stare Juchy 2 - 4 km. Access: railway station Elk. The Lasmiady lake is a valley lake 5800 m and 2400 wide. The banks of the lake are high. Ideal place for relaxing holidays in the countryside. Stare Juchy is a tourist centre. For arrivals by plane: airport Warszawa (WAW), Gdansk (GDN).
