Juszczyn: Small resort situated in the hilly area of Beskid Makowski in Karpathian Mountains small hamlet, in a valley, 70 km south from Kraków, 15 km south-east from Sucha Beskidzka, 30 km south-east from Wadowice. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 5 - 20 km. Access: railway station in the resort. Bus service. Babia Góra 1725 m 20 km. Maków Podhalanski 7 km. The first notice about village dates from 1410. The whole area is surrounded with small hills. The highest mountain is 20 km away - Babia Gora (1725 m). A couple of tracks leading to the top of the mountain. Not far away there is the interesting village Zawoja (15 km) with Babiogorski National Park. Ideal place for walking, cycling etc. Sucha Beskidzka with renaissance castle (Maly Wawel) and regional in Rzym. Wadowice (the birthplace of Pope John Paul the 2nd). It is situated south from Juszczyn Tatry with Tatra National Park and from Zakopane. One of the attractions is the river Dunajec flowing throu gh Pieniny, with famous montaineers rafts. The raft cruise starts in Szczawnica. For arrivals by plane: airport Kraków (KRK), Katowice (KTW).
