Deltebre: 2 m. Small resort with 10000 inhabitants, in the south-eastern part of the region, in a convenient position, 75 km south-west from Tarragona, 160 km south-west from Barcelona. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar, attractions. Access: motorway ap-7, exit number 40 LAldea. Access via a good road. Railway station Camarles 7 km. Salou 70 km. Tortosa 25 km. LAmpolla 10 km. Town situated in the Parque Natural del Delta del Ebro, in a protected nature area and surrounded by rice fields, the basic source of the area. Ideal for fishing (special fishing programmes), in open sea or in freshwater. Boats available for hire for fishing at Curri with examples of what can be caught in the river as well as the sea. Bicycle trips and hiking on the GR-92, by car to the Delta de LEbre, Montsia, Terra Alta, Priorat, Peniscola. For arrivals by plane: airport Barcelona-Prat Llob. (BCN) 150 km.
