641 m. Small village with 5500 inhabitants in the centre of the region, in a convenient position, 16 km from Granada, 75 km from Salobreña y Almuñecar. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar. Access: access via a good road. Railway station Granada. Bus service. Pradollano (p.esquí) 45 km. Armilla 6 km. Town rich in traditions, situated in fertile plains with many fruit trees. Cullar has kept its deep history: paleolitcal towns, neolitical houses, roman remains and arab ruins. Of interest: Town hall (XVII century), Sta Maria de la Anunciacion church and the palace of the Marqueses de Cadimo (XVII century). Moors and Christians festivals. For arrivals by plane: airport Granada (GRX), Almeria (LEI), Malaga (AGP).
