Vivero: Cosy resort with 15000 inhabitants, in the northern part of the region, 125 km south-west from A Coruña, 90 km north from Lugo. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar, attractions. Access: access via a good road. Railway station in the resort. Estaca de Bares 18 km. Town crossed by the Landrove river, at the mouth of which is one of the highest rivers in Galicia. It has beautiful scenery, dominated by the Landrove valley, like O Poza da Ferida, with an impressive 30 m waterfall, el Souto de Reterta, where there are the oldest 100 year old eucalyptos trees, or Naseiro. You should also visit the old muralled area, the roman churches of San Pedro and Santa Maria and its 7 km between beaches and the view point of San Roque mountain. For arrivals by plane: airport A Coruña (LCG) 120 km.
