Can Fiol is a 500 years old stone Catalan masia (300m2), that has just been respectfully restored. It is situated in beautiful walking coutnry, surrounded by the volcanic Garrotxa National Park, and Alta Garrotxa mountains, which lead into the Pyrenees. The masia is on 3 floors over 100m2 each. There are outstanding natural views in every direction, and there are private fields and a small wood of 25,000m2, rich with wildlife and wildflowers. The beaches of the Costa Brava are 45mins. drive, while there are several open air swimming pools in the surrounding villages. Lake Banyoles with swimming facilities is a 20mins. drive. You can also rent a canoe here. Not to be missed is a ballooning flight over the volcanoes from Santa Pau. The medieval town of Besalu is only 10mins., the nice town market of Olot at 15mins. Cities to visit are of course Barcelona (130km.), Girona with it's airport (Ryanair)(36km.), Figueras (29km.) with the fabulous Salvador Dalí museum.

On 2nd floor: 1 sitting room (3 x single bed, 2 x double sofa bed, TV, VCR, DVD ), 1 kitchen (microwave, dishwasher), 3x bedroom (double bed), 1 bathroom (shower, sink, WC), 1 bathroom (bath, sink, WC).
General: 2 x 1 pers folding bed, garden, garden furniture, BBQ, bowls, sandpit, cot.
