The cave houses of Cuevas la Granja are situated on an idyllic place less than 1 km from the town Benalúa, in the area Guadix in the outskirts of Andalusia. Rurally situated with splendid views! Ideal location within 30min. by car from the beautiful town Granada and 60min. by car from the Sierra Nevada. In Granada you can wander through the narrow streets of the Albaizin (Jewish area) and naturally visit the world famous Alhambra. The coast is within ±100km and the town Malaga ±170km.
This small holiday park consisting of 11 restored cave houses (50-70m2) was built on a former farm dating from the beginning of this century. Each cave has kept its own original character, but is equipped with modern comfort and equipment.
They are located along a lovely little square with a cosy garden. The park has a communal swimming pool (10x5.5x1.5m; open from May to October). There is even a reception and a restaurant on the park.
The location in the midst of the nature offers you the ideal opportunity to relax wonderfully and to rest, but with the difference that you staying in an authentic cave house, which have been dug up by our ancestors in the heart of the clay hills.
The temperature in the caves remains approx. 18°-20ºC all year through, as well as the hot summers and during the cold winters. Even the local people in Guadix live in caves!

The apartments are pleasantly furnished and equipped with 1 or 2 bedrooms.
Ground floor: 1 livingroom (double sofa bed, TV, fire place), 1 kitchen (microwave, washing machine), 1 bedroom (2 x queen size bed), 1 bathroom (shower, sink, WC, bidet).
