Description
Malvaglia: Rustic - house Riposo, above Malvaglia, on the outskirts, 3.5 km from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, directly by the woods edge. Private: grounds 600 m2, natural garden. Motor access to 50 m from the house. Stepped path (40 steps) to the house. Grocers, restaurant 3 km, bus stop 3.5 km. Chair lift 5 km.
Housing: 2-room house 50 m2 on 2 levels, practical and cosy furnishings: living/dining room 13 m2, with open fireplace, satellite-TV, radio and warm air heating. Open kitchen (4 hotplates, oven). Shower/WC. Upper floor (steep stair): 1 room 17 m2, with sloping ceilings, with 1 double bed (160 cm). Electric heating. Terrace. Terrace furniture, barbecue. Very nice view of the valley and the countryside. Reserved parking. Please note: only 1 dog accepted. Lower floor: Cellar, approx 20 m2, with freezer and electric 125 l boiler. Additional beds (mattresses) are in the same room as the double bed. There is a loft ladder to the upper floor without a banister.
Valle Blenio: 300 - 1100 m. The Blenio valley runs from Biasca to Lukmanier. Lukmanier pass is sometimes closed in winter. Note only with winter equipment. Infos on the phone 163. Clean water, imposing mountains, variaty of flora, romantic chapels, aristocratics houses, 3 museum are to be found in the valley. From Malvaglia cable car up to Dagro (1413 m), where there are sunny terraces with wonderful views. In winter also ski area. Lottigna, main town of the valley, is situated at the foot of the mytical mountain Cima del Simano, where, since the Roman times, one can enjoy the benefit of the mineral water springs. In Leontica a chair lift takes to the 2123 m of the Nara heights - also ski area in winter. Restaurants and grocery shops in Dangio-Torre, Acquarossa, Olivone and Ponte Valentino. Cinema in Acquarossa. Winter and summer holiday resort. Access: motorway Zürich - Lugano, exit number Biasca. Access via a good road. Railway station Biasca. Bus service.
