Isenfluh 4 km from Lauterbrunnen: Chalet, on the outskirts, 1 km from the centre of Isenfluh, in a sunny position on a slope, directly by the woods edge. Motor access to 40 m from the house. Steep footpath to the house. Public parking. Grocers 4 km, restaurant, bus stop 1 km. Chair lift 1 km. The house is situated at an altitude of about 1100 m above sea level, in a very isolated position. Ideal for fit people and who may well be into sports. Own well water. Gas and/or electricity via generator (some noise as a consequence). The house is not connected to the main electricity network. If necessary, an other bottle of gas on request (extra); cost to be paid locally: CHF 48,-.
Housing: 2-room chalet on 2 levels, simple furnishings: open living/dining room with open fireplace. Open kitchen in the entrance (2 hotplates). Shower/WC. Wood heating. Upper floor: 1 room with sloping ceilings with 3 beds, 1 pull-out bed (1 pers.), satellite-TV and radio. Terrace. Terrace furniture. View of the mountains, the valley and the countryside. Gas central heating. Upper floor with very sloping walls.
Lauterbrunnen: 796 m. Well-known, cosy village with 930 inhabitants, in a convenient position, 12 km from Interlaken, 15 km from Grindelwald. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor pool. Besides: doctor. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 12 km. Access: motorway A6 Bern - Interlaken, exit number Wilderswil 11 km from Lauterbrunnen. Then road Wilderswil - Zweilütschinen - Lauterbrunnen. Access via a good road. Public parking. Access by train Bern - Interlaken-Ost - Lauterbrunnen. Railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Zürich (ZRH), Basel (BSL), Genève-Cointrin (GVA).
