Housing: 6-room chalet 150 m2 on 3 levels: living/dining room 45 m2, with open fireplace, satellite-TV, radio and stereo unit. 3 double bedrooms. 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds and 1 pull-out bed. 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds and 1 pull-out bed. Kitchenette (oven, dishwasher, micro wave, deep freezer). Bath/WC, shower/WC, sep. WC. Reserved parking. Wood for the fireplace (extra).
La Tzoumaz: 1500 - 3300 m. Well-known holiday resort with 300 inhabitants, 13 km south from Riddes. In the resort: grocers, butchers, bakers, post office, restaurant. Indoor pool, sauna. Access: motorway Martigny - Sion, exit number 24 Riddes. Access via a winding mountain road. Access by train Lausanne - Sion - Brig. Railway station Riddes 13 km. Bus service. TV can be hired on request. For arrivals by plane: airport Genève-Cointrin (GVA), Zürich (ZRH), Basel (BSL).
Activities: During summer time: Tennis (1 outdoor court), golf course in Verbier. Fishing (permit required). Paragliding. 100 km walking path, mountain walks, mountain tours, climbing. 100 km mountain bike tracks. During winter time: Ski region La Tzoumaz. 2 cable cabins, 5 chair lifts, 5 drag lifts, 1 childrens ski lift. 12 ski runs, total length 28 km (30 % easy, 60 % intermediate, 10 % difficult), snowboard piste. Ski school (downhill), snowboard school, childrens ski school. 1 toboggan-run (long 10 km). Natural ice rink. Direct link with the ski area "Les 4 Vallees" (Verbier, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz and Veysonnaz) with 98 ski lifts and 400 km of ski runs. The firewood can be bought from the local Interhome office. Special ski pass offer: 9% discount on 6 day individual passes, for the "Les 4 Vallées" area.
