Description
Monte Cabioi 3 km from Sonogno: Simple ticino Rustico semi-detached house, in a quiet position. Private: lawn sunning area, barbecue. Motor access to the house (3 km via unmade road). Shop 25 km, restaurant 3.5 km, railway station Tenero 30 km. The Rustico is situated in a group of 6 houses, 3 km eastern of Sonogno, located directly at the source of Verzasca Intact nature with sayful Flora and Fauna. Many footpaths. Access by an 3 km unmade road (not suitable for sport cars) and only if it is free of snow (street is not cleaned in winter). Next to the river (5 m). Many bathing possibilities in the Verzasca Heating only from the fire place (wood available). Electricity from the solar plant. Note: bad radio reception. Mobile reception possible. Ideal for families with children and persons, who love the mountains.

3-room house on 2 levels, cosy furnishings: living/dining room with open fireplace. Open kitchen (oven). Upper floor: 1 room with 2 beds. 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds. Shower/WC. Balcony. Terrace. Terrace furniture, deck chairs. View of the mountains, the valley and the river. Reserved parking. The bunk beds are only suitable for children. Gas oven.

Valle Verzasca:
500 - 920 m. The Verzasca is surely the only valley that took its origin from the south of the Alps. It starts in Gordola and it develops on 29 km until Sonogno. The number of different aspect in such a short distance is incredible. From the shores of Lake Maggione there is a road along the vineyards until the dyke of Verzasca. Sonogno has interesting craft centre and museum. Holiday resort. All shops, restaurants etc. in Tenero 29 - 30 km. In the resort: grocers, restaurant. Access: access via a narrow, winding, good road. Railway station Tenero. Bus service. For arrivals by plane: airport Lugano (LUG), Milano-Malpensa (MXP), Zürich (ZRH).

Activities:
During summer time:
Swimming and diving in the Verzasca, mountain stream. Several walking paths to Pincascia, Carecchio, Brione. The most beautiful walks start in the Verzasca valley : from Mergocia or Tenero until Sonogno. Sport centre in Tenero. Beach. Walking path.
